For teachers
Teaching the Anthology
Sixteen poems, one comparison question: the student site carries a guide per poem and a pairings map; this area carries the teaching sequence and the assessment picture.
Scheme of work
A poem-by-poem sequence built around comparison from week one, with the pairings taught as they arise.
AssessAssessment
The AO2/AO3 grid in practical terms, the examiner warnings, and using the marking desk with a class.
How the site supports the classroom
Each poem page mirrors the analytical habits of your lessons: methods before meaning-hunting, form and structure never skipped, device-spotting always pushed to effect. Set poem pages as pre-reading or catch-up; use the pairings map for revision; and route practice answers through the marking desk (annotations only, never grades) so classroom time goes to redrafting. Poems in copyright are quoted on the site only in short phrases; students work from their own Anthology copies.
